The short version

Shuddhi is built to collect as little as possible. Your production data (job records, weigh-ins, recovery logs, and karigar names if you turn that feature on) never leaves your device unless you explicitly export or back it up yourself. We do not have a server that stores your business data, and we cannot see it, recover it, or be compelled to hand it over, because we never have a copy in the first place.

What we do collect

To make your license work, our license server (hosted on Supabase) stores:

The license key, the name/contact details you (or whoever sold you the license) provided at purchase, and a randomly-generated identifier for the device it's activated on.
Timestamps of when the license was activated and last checked in.

This is the minimum needed to verify your subscription is valid. It contains no production data, no job records, no financial figures from your business.

What we never collect

Job data, weigh-ins, recovery logs, department records, karigar assignments, or any other data you enter into the app.
Your device's files, other software, or anything outside the app itself.
Usage analytics or behavioral tracking of any kind. Shuddhi has no telemetry.

Crash/error reports

If you use the in-app "Report a problem" feature, a short technical summary (app version, your role, language, timestamp, and whatever you typed describing the issue) is prepared for you to send yourself, by email or WhatsApp. Nothing is sent automatically; we only see it if you choose to send it to us.

How license data is protected

License records are stored in a Supabase-hosted database accessible only through server-side functions we control; it is not publicly queryable.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) and general good practice, you can ask us to tell you what license/contact information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it (which will deactivate your license; we'll confirm before doing this). Contact us at support@parshvatech.in to make this request.

Data retention

We retain license records for as long as your subscription is active plus 2 years afterward, for support and renewal purposes, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Children

Shuddhi is business software for jewellery casting units and is not directed at, or knowingly used by, children.

Changes to this policy

Material changes will be communicated by email or WhatsApp before taking effect.
